Natasha + Callan’s Waterfront Wedding

Natasha and Callan literally climb mountains together. Seriously… When I asked them what they like to do together, they nonchalantly said, “We rock climb,” as if it wasn’t that big of a deal. And it might not be that unusual for them. But I suspect it is a large contributing factor to what is sure to be a long, successful marriage. How do I know this? Because when the rain delayed their August wedding by a full hour, neither of them lost it. They both very calmly waited to see each other for the first time as Natasha walked down the aisle with both her parents. It was no skin off either of their backs that the day didn’t go 100% according to plan. Instead, they patiently waited out the rain with smiles on both their faces, because they knew that what was waiting for them on the other side was worth it.

I have to say that their patience paid off. Their ceremony was beautiful. But their picturesque Bear Estate wedding was framed by the willow trees, the clear waters behind them, and came complete with swans.

Yes, rain on your wedding day is good luck; and good things come to those who wait.
