Sophia Lemon

I’m Sophia Lemon (or as my family calls me, Soph), a photographer, podcast host, and ‘Mum’ to one giant furbaby named Bruce. I’ve had the privilege of photographing best selling authors, Juno Award winning artists, and the most inspirational people you will never recognize on the street.

Through my work, I’ve developed a deep passion for inclusivity and representation. My burning desire is to dismantle the cultural pressures that force people into hiding their authentic selves. I seek to empower those I reach to celebrate what makes them ridiculously happy, making it easier for others to do the same.

My Values

I’m not just in this for the fun of it. I’m in it because I’ve seen the impact that my line of work can have in our community. Here’s what I believe in.

Our environment should be filled with daily reminders of what makes us ridiculously happy.

representation and inclusion

All people are equal and should have equal and deserve a reasonable expectation of safety.

mental health

Mental Health

An environment that makes you feel safe and allows you to be yourself is the only positive environment.

Love looks different to everyone; everyone experiences love differently; everyone is deserves of love.

You must surround yourself with people who share your values and build you up in order to flourish.

Money, looks, and fame do not equal success. People should pursue their passions sans cultural pressures.
