Genevieve + Corey

Corey and I were working together in the Gazette office. He said he had a new photography volunteer coming in. Queue Genevieve’s entrance. He casually (but also immediately) got up and went straight to the door. There, they sat and flipped through photos and old issues of the paper. I remember their smiles.

You know what I thought? I thought, “Oh yep! That’s going somewhere!” Because in that moment, they looked like they’d been together for a decade. Like they were that in sync. That comfortable. They just looked right.

It’s been over 10 years, now. And I swear that every time I see them, I notice how nothing has changed. Actually, I think they just look more and more… right. Especially when I met them in Collingwood to capture some maternity photos. Check them out…
