Photographer Feature Presentation in Collingwood

Recently, I had the opportunity to speak to my BNI chapter about what I think is the single most important part of my job! And that, believe it or not, is not the ability to create beautiful photographs. It is ensuring that I am sending my clients home with high quality, printed artwork like albums and large canvas gallery wraps!

I’ve put a lot of thought into this over the past 8 years in business. I’ve seen clients spend thousands of dollars only to walk away with a little USB stick of tiny gigabytes of data. I’ve even seen my clients lose all of their photos due to corrupt hardware. And on the flip side, I’ve seen how happy my clients are when we hang their prints. I’ve seen the pride all over their faces!

I have to tell you; our grandparents really had it right! Their archaic prints sure do stand the test of time. I still have my grandparents’ photos, and thanks to those prints, I feel like I know them!

In this presentation I describe why prints are important to me, and why prints are important to my clients. I also share the story of two of my favourite clients who truly value photography, and how working with them over the past year has reshaped my perspective on my job.
