Irena + Josh’s Waterfront Wedding

Editing Irena and Josh’s film was like watching my favourite movie for the 100th time. I can play out each moment in my mind in detail, predicting the next as if it were perfectly scripted, and yet each time I find myself a little choked up. OK, a lot choked up. The two are so perfectly matched I wonder if their lives were written by Jeremy Leven himself. Irena spent all morning trying to keep from bursting at the seams with excitement, while Josh nervously attended to every detail, determined to give the love of his life the perfect wedding day. But when they met on the patio overlooking where they would get married just minutes later it was as if the breath had been taken away from both of them for the first time. The stress of wedding planning, the blur of the morning, the sounds of the waves, the nerves, and the even butterflies faded. They just stood together, staring at one another, looking forward to their future as husband and wife. I don’t think I’ll ever see a love more perfect than Irena and Josh’s.
