Beker Family

Ah, the Beker family! I remember their session fondly. I had left home early for these Goderich family photos, and it was a good thing I did. As I was nearing Kincardine it looked like it would storm. And about an hour before their session I got a text saying it was definitely going to rain. I was only about 20 minute from their cottage so I slipped over early. It immediately started pouring rain. We all looked at each other a bit stunned and flustered. But we quickly decided to clear the covered deck and do all of their photos there.

30 minutes into their session the rain stopped and I pulled them all out onto the beach. It was the perfect setting for this family. It was a special place to the family because all of the grandkids have spent their summers growing up there.  I should also note that overcast makes the best lighting conditions for photos. And so, the weather was perfect! I left so inspired and excited by their photos. Their session was filled with smiles and laughter, and everyone looked so natural in a place they’re so in love with.
