During your premiere, we will review your photos, pick your favourites, decide how you’d like them edited, and how you would like to display them.
Premieres are currently being held on Zoom.
There are a few ways you can prepare for your photo premiere.
1. Look around your home and take notes on spaces you can brighten with photos of your favourite moments. Don’t just think about the big empty walls like above your fireplace or bed. Think about small walls, like below the stairs, or even smaller spaces like your desk, side tables, and bookshelves. There are tons of options for small but powerful pieces that will fit unexpected spaces in your home and office.
2. If you find that there are large walls that need some new artwork, take a photo. Place a piece of letter paper (8.5×11 inch) on the wall, and stand back. Take a photo straight-on, and include a bit of the ceiling and the furniture around it to give context. I’ll be able to use that photo to superimpose a photo so that you can see your photo on the wall before ordering it.
3. Make a list of people who might love to display some of these photos in their homes. Think grandparents, aunts, uncles, and siblings, and people who live far away–maybe even overseas. Photography makes an incredibly meaningful gift, and I can help you gift these favourites of yours with beautiful and thoughtful artwork. We’ll start planning out perfect gifts for the upcoming holidays.
4. Have a look at my Photography Artwork Investment Guide. This will give you a good idea of what options there are for display your photos in your home and gifting to your favourite people. If these options inspire other unique ideas, just ask! I can do practically anything you can dream of.
And finally, 5. Be sure to mark your favourite photos in your gallery with a heart. We’ll focus on these photos in your premiere.
